This web page allows you to use the 3D Touch of your iPhone to weigh objects

When the iPhone 6sThe big news was the Touch 3D. Most iPhone applications began to update to be compatible with the new function, and it didn't take long for certain applications to appear that used it in an unconventional way, such as those that used the new pressure sensitivity of iPhone screens to turn it into a scale.

Unsurprisingly, Apple was not very amused by this, and applications of this type that were presented in the App Store were removed or rejected.

However, there are those who insist that we can use our iPhones to weigh objects, and another method has recently appeared for us to do it: the web. Of course, Apple can't impose its restrictions on the web, so anyone can visit this page to weigh objects (without much precision, everything must be said).

Since there are objects that the screen of an iPhone will not recognize, or that you do not want to put directly in contact with it, you can use a spoon to put the objects on top. On the web there is a function to zero the scale, removing the weight from the spoon.

The scale uses JavaScript and has been created by the developer Tarun Pemmaraiu. The code is based on the JavaScript implementation for 3D Touch created by Marcel Freinbichler.

As we said, the scale is not very accurate, but that was to be expected. After all, 3D Touch was not created with that use in mind. In any case, it is still interesting, especially considering that the function is executed on a website, and not through a native application.
