What is the fastest smartphone on the market? That is the question that the YouTuber wanted to answer EverythingApplePro, and for this it has carried out a speed test, in which the top five smartphones of 2017 (to date) competed, namely: the Galaxy S8, 7 iPhone Plus, LG G6, Google Pixel and OnePlus 3T from BBK.
The result? the iPhone 7 Plus far surpasses all others, and that despite the fact that it has 3 GB of RAM, while the rest have 4 GB (the OnePlus 3T, in fact, has 6 GB of RAM), and despite the extra cores of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835. Finally, nothing beats the efficiency of iOS 10 and Apple's A10 Fusion processor..
As you can see in the video, Apple manages to lead the competition, both in benchmark tests and in real-life performance tests.
The video includes a first round in which a series of applications are opened, and a second round in which it turns on them. The iPhone 7 Plus manages to open the whole series of games, productivity tools and other applications in only 2:44 minutes, roughly twice as fast as the four competing Android smartphones.
iOS also manages to return all those applications, already open, in only 33 seconds. Other smartphones take either almost twice as long (in the case of the OnePlus 3T) or up to four times as long (the LG G6, the Google Pixel and the Galaxy S8). The huge discrepancy, even between Android phones, indicates that the operating system isn't very good at managing apps in RAM.
As we said, the last three smartphones have 4 GB of RAM (whereas, as you know, the iPhone 7 Plus has 3 GB), but the fastest of Android phones, the OnePlus 3T has no less than 6 GB of RAM, and not even with these can it beat the Apple smartphone... it is also true that it is the cheapest of all the others, by far, with a price that goes from €439, in its 64 GB version, to €479 in its 128 GB version, which is a point in its favor.

And all this, taking into account that the iPhone 7 Plus is already 7 months old... imagine how the iPhone 7s / 7s Plus and iPhone 8, which will have a A11 chip even faster than the A10 Fusion, and other innovations that will undoubtedly incorporate iOS 11!
